Training and stuff

I haven't posted anything in a awhile because life has been a bit nuts this week. First off everybody is freaking about the move, parents, friends, clients/friends and the whole rest of the world. You forget how many people are involved in your life until something like this goes down. I'm really shocked at how many people are effected by decisions that are made in my life. I knew this was going to be tough but holy cow!

I have been lucky in the last 11 years to have trained and become close with so many great people. They have all shaped my life and career in one way or another and I thank all of you for that. Change is a very scary thing and this was a very hard decision for me to make. I know that if Jen and I don't do this I will always wonder WHAT IF? On the flip side now everybody has a good reason to fly out to California.

I know there is one very pleased Latvian in L.A. right now.

You're right, better to try and succeed, then to live with a bad case of the "shoulda's" the rest of your life.

You're going to do so well, it's not even funny. Heck, four days down there, and the seduction of moving back started to beckon to me.

If you need anything, let me know.

It will be hard Doug, as moving anywhere is, but once the dust settles you will dig it for real. You already look like you are from Cali now it will be true!

Change can be super scary...and soometimes more for the family and friends. But......change often is what's needed to get to a different level in your life...and with change ALWAYS comes sacrifice. I'm sure you guys will do some soul searching and make the right decision.

Decisions like this are never easy. It's hard to leave family, friends and those things that are known and comfortable. I agree with the rest of the guys that once you get past the initial shock, things will settle down and you will tell wonder you hadn't moved here earlier!

I know what your feeling, we to are planning a move in the next 6-8 months or so.

Change is scary, but fear will subside. Living with the "what ifs" last forever.

Good luck with your new start.

I look forward to not shoveling, and I know you do to!
