Who would have thought

I met Pavel for the first time in 2003 at the Arnold Classic in Columbus, Ohio. It was great to meet the myth in person. Then two years later I was a certified RKC. I would have never in 1000 years ever imagine what was to come.

Last night Jen and I had dinner with Pavel and His wife Julie. There is nothing like good food and company. It was a great evening, I will speak of the top secret stuff when I'm told to and no sooner. On the way home it really hit me how amazing my life has really been so far. The only thing I wish is that my Grandpa and Grandma Nep were here to see it. I don't really miss to many things. I have always been able to tuck things away and it's business as usual. I really miss them both.

It's nice to slow down once in awhile and really evaluate.

The wonderful thing about knowing that loved ones that have passed would be so proud of what you're doing, is knowing that their love and influence they provided help drive those very same actions and events.

You're living your dream, and that's a brave, powerful thing! Keep embracing and lovin' it! Cheers!

Two things I have come to believe in ...

Good things happen to good people. :)

Even though they may not be here to share ... they still see. :) (Hope that made sense)

All of the good things are deserved. I think that you probably have so many good things happen to you in part because of the way you live. In my opinion, one of the great ways to do honor to people is to make your life continue to count in their absence. Thinking back and acknowledging times in the past is also a good way. It looks like you do both! :)

The secrets? Is the RKC is finally going to declare itself an independent country? Golly I hope.

Doug you lucky dog!
Pavel is one of my heros too.

I know my Grandparents would be proud of me just going to through the RKC course. I believe that they are with me in spirit in whatever I do and I believe yours are too. Know that they are all smiling upon us!

It is amazing isn't it? That a ball of Iron and one man's vision can have the ripple effect that brings peoeple like you & me ( the rest of the RKC) together.

There are big things ahead......

Thats the hard part that people dont really get unless you go through it. RKC isnt about kettlebells-its about people. We are building a familiy of choice! zzzzzzz

Mr. Whitley is so not helping with the secret suspense! And I LOVE the family of choice comment!

There are indeed big things ahead, Brother. I know that you're drunk with excitement about what you're struggling to keep secret, but relief is right around the corner.

We fight our fights to live our dreams and love how we spend our energies and our efforts. Rock it, Doug!
